Portrait Homes was proud to participate in the GVHBA annual Coats for Kids campaign again this year with two drop off points, our head office in Richmond and our Nelson Peak community in Maple Ridge, where coats could be donated.
We were thrilled when we were contacted by the RPC Daycare and told that a bunch of the kids had worked together to collect as many coats as they could for the Coats for Kids campaign. I am sure the parents and staff at RPC have done a great job in fostering the idea of community and giving to those less fortunate. The RPC kids had set a goal to collect as many as 20 coats to help those in need and it was a success! They visited our head office as a group to present us with the coats and we weren’t the only ones floored by their generosity. Bob de Witt, CEO of GVHBA, decided to come down and personally thank all of the kids for such an amazing act of kindness. Thank you to the RPC Daycare for being such great role models in the community!
